A stunning Morgan/Friesian cross, approximately 16 years old, with a spirit as strong as her graceful silhouette. Freya's past is a tale of resilience; abandoned for over three years, she had to fend for herself before finding her way to safety when she came to us in 2023. While we don’t know much about her early years, we do know she’s a fighter.

According to the vet, Freya has an old injury that, though healed, caused her muscle to heal too tightly. Despite this, she’s made incredible progress but needs ongoing care to thrive. Freya requires monthly chiropractic adjustments, PEMF treatments, and potentially injections to ensure her continued recovery.

Zeus came to us from another nonprofit organization, and we couldn’t be more grateful that they reached out to us. He wasn’t in need of rescuing from a bad situation—instead, he simply needed a safe and loving place to land as they prepared to close their doors.

Zeus is incredibly sweet, and he’s already stolen our hearts. However, he does face challenges with sacroiliac pain and hind-end leg discomfort. We’ve noticed in the time he has been here that the rolling hills sometimes cause him pain, especially when walking uphill. Zeus needs X-rays of Zeus’s spine and hind legs. This will help us better understand his condition and explore additional ways to bring him relief. The hills are ultimately helping him!
